Note: Paypal takes out a small administrative processing fee, which impacts the full amount the Eta Phi of Theta Chi receives. “PayPal charges a fee of 2.89% plus $0.49 per donation transaction for general users using the donation button.”

Going directly through Paypal allows for a “friends and family” donation rather than the “goods and services” donation, and that removes the processing fee. Sadly, this is not an option Paypal allows us to include with payment through our Eta Phi of Theta Chi website.
